Q: Why do you need my personal details?

Don’t worry - we only need your email address to send you your car’s valuation, and to confirm your appointment! Your private details, including your email address, are for internal purposes only. As for your contact details, we only use those to get in touch with you about your inspection. Your personal information is encrypted, and we won’t share it with any third party. And don’t worry - we won’t be sending you any spammy marketing material either!

Q: What are your opening hours?

Our offices are situated at 37 Bree Street, in the heart of Cape Town. We’re open every Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, and all our contact details are available on our Contact Us page. You can also click on the Live Chat icon and leave us a message!

Step 1: On the Desktop version of the site, scroll down to the bottom of the CarZar homepage and click on the link titled ‘Contact Us’. For mobile users, click on the menu tab in the top right hand corner of your screen and click on the ‘More’ tab - you will see a ‘Contact Us’

Q: How does CarZar calculate the value of my car?

CarZar’s unique algorithm considers a number of factors when calculating your quote, including your car’s age, model and the number of kilometres it’s driven. We refer to current market trends and historical data, as well as your car’s current market value, to give you a comprehensive, obligation-free quote.

We then calculate any reconditioning costs your car may incur in order to get it into ‘selling condition’ - this includes fixing dents and scratches, and replacing worn tyres - and factor those into your final cash offer.

Depreciation also plays a role in determining your car’s value - so the sooner you sell, the bigger your offer will be!
